Known as the Area 51 for auto manufacturers testing their latest concept vehicles, we are privileged to be given access to this iconic venue for some thrills and spills behind the wheel with our valued 47A guests.

Audi Ice Experience

Partnering with Audi New Zealand, we enjoy the latest Quattro range and put both the cars and our skills to the test, completing various exercises and drills on the snow and ice. As a proud New Zealand brand, our partnership with Audi New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds allows us to bring our clients from across the world down to our home to experience the thrill of driving in a truly remarkable way.

The Alps by Helicopter

Where possible, we seek to incorporate an aerial perspective into the 47A experience. For Expedition Ice, our guests partake in the unique pleasure of flying back across the vast Southern Alps to base at Millbrook Resort upon the conclusion of our ice drive experience at Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds.

Made famous by Sir Peter Jackson’s legendary Lord of the Rings films, the Southern Alps of New Zealand is one of the most picturesque locations on the planet, with rugged snow-capped mountains and vast glacial lakes making for an awe-inspiring climax to the day.

Millbrook Resort

Home of the New Zealand Golf Open, Millbrook is our home base for Expedition Ice, with guests each having their own private luxury villas to soak in the fine alpine resort lifestyle. The perfect place to escape and unwind while providing plenty of opportunities to connect and socialise with other guests on the expedition.
